U.S. court rejects U.S. government’s request to delist WeChat

On the 23rd local time, the San Francisco District Court of California rejected the US Department of Justice’s application and upheld the temporary injunction last month, that is, prohibiting the removal of the instant messaging tool WeChat from app stores in the United States. Judge Laurel Biller of the district court said that the evidence submitted by the US government did not change the court’s previous view, and that the evidence of WeChat’s alleged threat to US security was clearly insufficient.
